Dr. Rahumathunza I

Dr. Rahumathunza I is an eminent academician who started her career as a Teacher in the year 1990. She has worked in various Engineering Colleges including Mohamed Sathak Engineering College, Kilakarai, Royal Engineering College, Thrissur, Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology and MES College of Engineering.

She has officiated in various capacities including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of Department, Associate Dean, Academic Co-ordinator, NBA Co-ordinator and Principal.

As an administrator, she has been the head of the department of Mechanical Engineering at MES College of Engineering for 5 years and served as Principal at Royal College of Engineering and Institute of Engineering and Technology Calicut University, for 2 years and 1½ years respectively.

She was a Member of the Board of studies - UG & PG of Calicut University for two consecutive terms 2009-12 and 2017-19. She was also a syllabus curriculum committee member for 1 year at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Currently, she is the Chairperson and Member of the Board of studies of Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering; and Mechanical Production. She is a Member of the Academic Council and Board of Governors of Kerala Technological University.
