A special cell for the well-being of the Other Backward Communities (OBC) is established to enlighten and empower the OBC students in the college. The cell actively participates in resolving the issues and problems related to the OBC and employees of the college. The cell also provides assistance in getting scholarships, personality development and remedial classes etc. It also facilitates financial support to students from the OBC communities from government agencies and other sources. The OBC cell has been very much keen to provide services to the educational and cultural needs of other backward communities

Objectives

• To empower the OBC students in the college
• To enhance equal opportunities of OBC community
• To facilitate financial support to students from OBC community from governmental agencies and other sources.
• To collect reports and information of Central/State Government and AICTE/UGC’s orders on various aspects of education, employment of OBC students
• To plan, implement and monitor remedial coaching for OBC students
