Application General Information
Instructions for filling the Application form
Note : Please read the information brochure carefully before filling up the application form. Do not send back the instruction sheet or information brochure with the filled in application.
Applications found incomplete and defective will be rejected.
- Name of the Applicant : Write your name in CAPITAL letters as given in the records of the Secondary School Examination.
- Name of Parent/Guardian : Please give the name of father or mother. Guardian's name to be given only if parents are not alive. Also write income of your parent/guardian.
- Address : Complete postal address with name of District and Pin code to be given.
- Details of amount remitted towards the cost of application form : Attach original receipt obtained for payment of cost of application form.
- The applicants have to furnish self-attested copies of mark list/proof of marks awarded within 10 days of publication of results of qualifying examination and entrance examination.
- Attach one self addressed envelope of 10cm x 22cm size affixing postal stamp of Rs.5/- and a self addressed post card for acknowledgement.
- Completed application along with enclosures should be sent to the Principal, MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, Thrikkanapuram P.O., Malappuram Dt., Pin- 679573.
- Belated or wrongly addressed application is liable to be rejected.

** DD should be in favour of the Principal MES College of Engineering & payable at Kuttippuram towards the application form. Money orders will not be accepted.

Entrance Test Details
The seats other than those set apart to be filled by the Management, will be filled by the Government
as per the merit list prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner
for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala as per rules framed by the Government.
For Management quota of seats also the admission will be made from the ranklist prepared on the basis of CEE conducted by the Government of Kerala. For admission to Architecture course, selection will be from the rank list prepared as per the guidelines of Council of Architecture
Therefore, applicants seeking admission under Management quota should have necessarily written the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Kerala and for Architecture, NATA conducted by COA. They should submit application separately in the prescribed form along with the enclosures to this college.

NRI seats which will be filled from students of all communities are also available.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination,kerala or equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology put together are eligible for admission. 3 year diploma holders in Engineering having 50% marks in the final diploma examination are also eligible for admission to first year BTech.
Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or Examination recognized equivalent thereto by the University of Calicut with 50% marks in aggregate and with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination at the higher secondary level. Admission shall be subject to obtaining a minimum of 40% marks in the Aptitude Test[NATA] conducted by Council of Architecture.
The college is equiped with more than 1100 latest configuration computer terminals across the campus. Each department runs their own computer centre(s) with sufficient number of computers and accessories.A separate Computer Center is set up in the Ladies Hostel for the benefit of its inmates.
Campus Wide Network,Campus Software and Internet Facility
College is fully networked with a campus wide network interconnecting all departments and sections in to a single LAN. The network is having a fibre backbone of 1 Gig capacity.
A campus software is capturing profile of all students through which the performance of the student can be assessed by any faculty any where in the campus. The parents can evaluate the performance of their wards from the home itself through the web. Leased line Internet connection having 100 Mbps Bandwidth is being catered across the campus.Internet facility is available at all times in the campus.
The institution has a well established fully automated Central Library. Having a total collection of 69000+ Volumes of books, 24000+ Unique titles amounting 4.5 crores and 203 National and International Journals relevant in the field of engineering technology and management; library cater to the requirements of the academic community as a whole.
We provide Book Bank facility for economically backward students, extends resource sharing with other Libraries, and offers services to neighboring community. Each department of the college is equipped with department library.
Library is fully automated with bar-code facility. With On-line Public Access Catalog (OPAC), independent information retrieval by library users is possible from anywhere in the campus. A Xerographic section is also functioning in the library.
Th library is an active member of reputed organizational bodies like DELNET, IEEE, ASME, ASCE, INSDAG, IET etc.
A state of the art Digital Repository which can give access to 13100+ e-Journals, 1580+ e-Books, On-line journals, 4400+ CD ROMs, 560+ DVDs, 7800+ Bound back volume journals, 1100+ Project reports, 290+ Mini projects, 3200+ Seminar reports, 50+ thesis reports, 398+ Indian Standard Codes and Question paper archives-meet the information requirments of academic community of the college.
E-access is possible to IEEE, ELSEVIER, ASME, ASCE, J-GATE, ASTM, SPRINGER, Mc GRAW HILL and RMIT Database. More than 3000 Users are benefiting from these facilities.
Timely procurement of up to date information resources to keep pace with the changing of science and technology, makes library the last resort of information seekers.
Full Fledged Hostel Facility
A Women's Hostel with capacity of 750 and a Mens Hostel with capacity of 750 are functioning within the college campus.A rented Mens Hostel with a capacity of 100 is additionally faciltated.Since only limited number of hostel seats are available, admission is restricted.Preference will be given to those who come from far off places and those who have good academic records
Training & Placement
A full fledged Training and Placement cell under the charge of a Senior Professor is functioning in the College.
Gymnasium is available in the Mens Hostel as well as Ladies Hostel with all latest equipments.Students and Staff members can avail this facility in the morning as well as evening
Physical Education Department
Physical Education Department of the college is catering facilities for the students and staff for their active involvement in sports. The department opens oppurtunities to the student to expertise and expose their talents in various sports activities.
There are two college buses running to Kottakkal and Kunnamkulam from the college campus and back,on all working days for the convenience of students and members of staff.
A registered co-operative society store is functioning in the college to help staff and students in the purchase of books and other stationery items.The store will be open from 9 am to 5 pm on all working days.
A full fledged branch of Punjab National Bank is functioning inside the campus with ATM facility.
A canteen is functioning inside the campus for providing quality-catering facilities for the students and staff at moderate rate.
The college has a well-furnished Guest House with 10 A/C Rooms meant for visiting faculties and guests of the College.In addition guest room facility is arranged in the Campus Mens Hostel.
The college has a spacious Mosque for Muslim students (including girls) to conduct their prayers.
A Lady Doctor is available in the campus between 12.30 P.M. to 1.30 P.M. A seperate clinic is functioning inside the campus for the practice of the medical officer.
