FabLab - MESCE

A Fabrication Laboratory (FABLAB) is a technical prototyping platform for innovation and invention which aims at providing stimulus for students and serves as a platform for learning and innovation. It is a small scale workshop offering Digital Fabrication which empowers students and other users to create smart devices for themselves which can be tailored to local or personal needs. The FABLAB also becomes a medium for connecting to a global community of Learners, Educators, Technologists, Researchers and Innovators- essentially becoming a self-sustaining global knowledge sharing network.

Fab Labs (digital fabrication laboratories) were set up to inspire people and entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into new products and prototypes by giving them access to a range of advanced digital manufacturing technology. The Fab Lab was designed around the emerging possibility for ordinary people to not just learn about science and engineering but actually design machines and make measurements that are relevant to improving the quality of their lives and the communities around them. more
